Spring has arrived at Vision Montessori of Herndon, bringing sunshine, fresh blooms, and a renewed sense of wonder throughout our classrooms. From our curious toddlers to our enthusiastic kindergarteners, April is filled with hands on learning, outdoor exploration, and joyful seasonal activities that celebrate growth, creativity, and the beauty of nature.
Across all programs, children will explore springtime themes such as rain and clouds, Easter, seeds, butterflies, Earth Day, kites, birds, farm animals, and baby animals—each thoughtfully designed to nurture independence, confidence, and a love of learning.

​Classroom Highlights

• Toddlers: Our toddlers will enjoy a month full of spring exploration through Easter, butterflies, Earth Day, and farm animals. They’ll continue practicing letters m, n, o, reviewing numbers, and learning about spring weather through simple experiments and sensory play. Our toddlers will explore spring themes through hands‑on activities, music, art, movement, and sensory play.

• Primary: Primary students will dive into seasonal learning with themes such as rain and clouds, seeds, Easter, Earth Day, and kites. They’ll explore how weather helps plants grow, plant seeds, and learn about caring for our planet. Art, stories, and hands‑on activities will bring spring flowers, birds, and butterflies to life. • Pre-K / Kindergarten: Our older learners will deepen their academic foundations through phonetic reading, writing, addition, subtraction, and word problems. Spring themes—rain and clouds, seeds, Earth Day, and kites—will be paired with engaging science experiments and geography lessons about continents and countries. “This month, our students will explore the wonders of the season through hands on activities and engaging lessons.​​
