Admission Process

We understand there are many preschool options for parents in Herndon and in Fairfax County. The Vision Montessori admissions process begins with a tour and interview. We take great pride in including a family interview in our admissions process. We strive to provide our families with not only a learning environment for their child, but a community for their family. We want to know and understand your expectations of us as a school and we want to communicate our expectations of you as parents.

Tours / Visits

We offer individual tours of the school during the morning hours, Mondays and Fridays. You can schedule your visit by calling: 703-707-8444 or by completing our online inquiry form.


We accept applications on a rolling admissions basis; and offer a year-round program. The school has limited space; however, enrollments are reserved upon receipt of all fees. Tuition is billed starting with your child’s first transition day in our school.



Submit $150 Application Fee ($250 for two children).



Complete and submit Enrollment Paperwork.

Submit One Month's Tuition Deposit

Tuition deposit will be applied to your child's final month's tuition.

To RESERVE A FUTURE CLASS OPENING: It will be necessary to provide a completed signed Application and payment of $150.00. Receipt of all payments will guarantee placement in the school. One month tuition deposit will be due upon your child’s enrollment.



Class openings are limited and at times, there may be a waiting list. To be placed on the wait list; new families must complete and submit the Application for Admissions form along with the payment of $150.00. We will provide priority enrollment to siblings of currently enrolled children. Parents on the waiting list will be notified 30 days prior to the available class opening.
